Our Events & Programming

Calm the Chaos

An event, open to anyone, but intentionally dedicated to centering women and their experiences- Calm the Chaos creates the space to discuss mental health, learn and ask questions, practice mindfulness techniques, and connect with others . The Calm the Chaos event series was established in Spring 2022 to provide mental health and mindfulness education and build social capital of participants. The event format consists of a light community meal, a workshop or discussion about a mental health topic, and a beginner-friendly mindfulness session. Occasionally, there are other resources as well, such as Certified Health Navigators from Aspin that can talk with you about your health insurance options. Community Calm the Chaos Events take place twice per year. Check our social media and activities calendar for details!

Flourish Virtual Wellness Series

A series of 8 virtual one-hour sessions to guide you in cultivating your own culture of wellness by centering mental health and the 7 Dimensions of Wellness.

The first session will introduce you to CWUW’s wellness philosophy and to each of the 7 Dimensions. The next 7 sessions break down a dimension and discuss an important topic that impacts it.

FOR ORGANIZATIONS: This series can be easily tailored to your organization or group’s needs (topics, number of sessions, length of sessions, in-person or virtual)- please reach out to us to talk about it!
